Gaby Sambuccetti is an Argentine-born, UK-based poet, writer and cultural practitioner whose work moves between languages, memory and migration. Educated at Brunel University London, King’s College London and the University of Oxford, she brings together creative practice and literary scholarship and is currently undertaking a PhD in Spanish and Latin American Studies at King’s College London. Her poetry has been featured at the Hay Festival and at The British Library, where she was presented as a Latin American writer in the UK through WritersMosaic, a division of the Royal Literary Fund. She was awarded the Cosmo Davenport-Hines Poetry Prize and the Von Schlippenbach PGT Bursary, and has served as a judge for international translation awards, including the Valle Inclán Prize organised by the Society of Authors. In 2019, 2022 and 2024, she was invited to the House of Lords to speak on writing and freedom of the press and to share her work. She has also delivered readings and talks internationally, including at Universidad Nacional de San Martín and the Embassy of Chile in the United Kingdom. As founder and director of La Ninfa Eco (period 2017-2026), she has fostered transnational literary dialogue across Europe, the UK and Latin America. Through her journalistic and podcast work, she has interviewed writers including Isabel Allende and engaged with major contemporary literary voices such as George R. R. Martin.
