Sevda Albers (Azerbaijan) currently resides in Luxembourg with her husband and three lovely bicycles. She is a PhD candidate at Ghent university (Belgium) and her doctoral dissertation is concerned with Henry James’s use of chiasmus. Sevda takes a great interest in poetry. Two of her poems – “James and I” and “sound of August” – were on the shortlists in the Oxford Brookes International Poetry Competition in 2016 and 2018 respectively. In addition to her interest in reading and writing poetry, Sevda is also passionate about cinema and script writing. Sevda looks forward to publishing her first poetry pamphlet and developing her cinematic project in the foreseeable future.
