UK-based organization La Ninfa Eco and Editorial Aquitania invite you to participate in the first edition of this queer-themed flash fiction and poetry contest aimed at young people with the goal to promote reflection, creativity, and critical thinking.
Requirements to submit your piece:
- Everyone over the age of 12 and under the age of 20 can participate.
- There are no nationality restrictions.
- The short stories and poems must be written in Spanish or English and must be original and
unpublished. - The pieces must to be between 100-150 words (excluding the title), single-spaced in
Times New Roman, and 12 size font.
The pieces will be sent through a form on the official website of La Ninfa Eco where the
following must be attached: the story or poem, its title, the personal information of the
author (with their name or pseudonym), and a statement indicating that, in the event that
the participant is a minor, he/she/they has permission from a parent or legal guardian to
participate.

Disclaimer and copyright notice
The form must be completed before 11:59 p.m. (England time zone), on October 31, 2022. All works that are sent outside of the established period will be excluded from the contest. Each contestant can participate with the maximum number of two pieces, but each one must be delivered independently with its corresponding form. Announcement of winners will be on November 30, 2022.
The jury will be made up of individuals with recognized literary careers and chaired by a member of La Ninfa Eco. The ruling will be decided during the month of November of this year, and will take into account the following assessment criteria: compliance with the objectives of the competition, literary quality, and originality.
The final decisions of the jury will be announced through the email address or telephone provided by the author on the contest entry form.
The prize for the ten selected flash fiction stories/poems is of publication in an international anthology that will be published by Editorial Aquitania.
Editorial Aquitania Siglo XXI is not responsible for the content and work of the authors, does not reserve any rights to the work, and in the event that the work generates income after the cost
of production, this will be divided equally to promote new projects in the publishing company and in La Ninfa Eco.
La Ninfa Eco will ensure protection of the data of every participant. We reserve the right to reject or disqualify participants who violate anyone’s right to privacy and dignity
