Eve, remember the beginning of creation?
I was very lonely,
Then you came.
We were introduced under a unknown tree.
I am Adam and you are Eve,
You are a woman and I am a man.
The creator lifted an impenetrable wall of inequality.
Yet, through the walls, the rejoicing of our union and the joy of creation continues.
We float in the crazy current;
Mississippi, Tigris, Euphrates, Nile float and float.
How long the great time has passed.
Civilization that sprouted in the womb of the great age;
Indus, Babylon, Pharaoh, Inca.
The scriptures came and Avatar. Alas, religion!
The battle bells rang-
Bloodshed! Oh bloodshed!
Now I am very tired of the game of creation and destruction.
Eve, look at the faded spring of the colorless world.
Today all the flowers have fallen,
Just the smell of corpses all around.
Maybe our reunion was just a game of creation;
But why is humanity endangered today?
Alas! religion, alas! destruction, alas! humanity.

হাওয়া, মনে পড়ে সৃষ্টির শুরুর কথা?
আমি ছিলাম ভীষণ একা;
তারপর তুমি এলে।
এক অচিন বৃক্ষের তলে
পরিচয় হলো দুজনার।
আমি আদম আর তুমি হাওয়া,
তুমি নারী আর আমি নর।
সৃষ্টিকর্তা তুলে দিলেন
বৈষম্যের এক দুর্ভেদ্য দেয়াল।
দেয়াল ভেদ করে চলতে থাকে
মিলনের অবগাহন
আর সৃষ্টিসুখের উল্লাস।
আমরা গা ভাসিয়ে দেই উন্মত্ত স্রোতে;
মিসিসিপি, টাইগ্রিস, ফোরাত, নীলনদে
ভেসে যাই আর ভেসে যাই।
কতকাল মহাকাল পেরিয়ে যায়।
মহাকালের গর্ভে গজিয়ে ওঠে সভ্যতা
সিন্ধু, ব্যাবিলন, ফারাও, ইনকা।
এলো ধর্ম, গ্রন্থ, অবতার। হায় ধর্ম!
যুদ্ধের দামামা বাজে;
রক্তপাত, হায় রক্তপাত।
আজ সৃষ্টি-ধংসের খেলায়
আমি বড় ক্লান্ত।
হাওয়া, চেয়ে দেখো
রংহীন পৃথিবীর বিবর্ণ বসন্ত।
আজ ফুলেরা সব ঝরে গেছে,
চারিদিকে শুধু লাশের গন্ধ।
আমাদের মিলনে শুধু
সৃষ্টির খেলা ছিলো হয়তো;
তবে কেন আজ বিপন্ন মানবতা।
হায় ধর্ম, হায় ধ্বংস, হায় মানবতা।।

Biography
Mustak Ahmed (Bangladesh). Playwright. He is renowned as a man of drama. He has a deep intimacy with stage. He is also Poet and lyricist, but he is better known as a playwright. Besides writing plays, he is also performing on stage and directing plays regularly. As a playwright, he has received unparalleled acclaim in the international arena including America, Russia, England and India. His plays have been staged at the Queen’s Theater and maryland in America, Russia, MAC Theater Hall (Birmingham) in England, the largest Bengali drama festival in Europe, Season of Bengali Drama, London (Tower Hamlets). The play of playwright Mustak Ahmed has been performed in other educational institutions of the country including Dhaka University, National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. So far, many time-honored plays written by Mustak Ahmed have been staged abroad. His notable plays are Hasan Raja, a biography of Zamindar Dewan Hasan Raja Chowdhury, a biography of Sufi saint Durbin Shah, Durbinnama, a biography of Vaishnava lyricist Radharman Dutt, Bhramar Koiyo Giya, Love story based drama Rajnartaki of Mughal Empire. Behula Sundari, Bhatidesher Kainya, Alok Tapsi Bihanga, Lilabati, Lalmahal, Chandramukhi, Ranger manush, Crying in the Forest, Thief, Question, Vibrat, Bangamata Rangmancha, Kazi Office, Jaglur Ekdin, Bloody Letter, Krantikal, ‘Rajanandini’ is the glorious anthem of Bangabandhu family and liberation war. Besides, he has directed many popular dramas. Among the plays directed by Mustak Ahmed are Shatvisha’s production ‘Naripuran’, world famous French playwright Moliere’s ‘Marriage Force’, Manasamangal’s play ‘Behula Sundari’, and Langla’s legendary play ‘Karimunnesa’. He entered the cultural arena as a musician holding the hand of the late Shri Bidit Lal Das, a legend of folk music. Later, the playwright became fully involved in the drama movement by uniting in the drama movement. Among the notable books published by him are Hasan Raja, Kainya of Bhatides, Bivarna Basanta and Rajanandini. He studied at Habinandi Government Primary School, Kuchai Ishrab Ali Bilateral High School and Madan Mohan University College respectively. Mustak Ahmed, the youngest son of Mohammad Chan Mia and Saida Begum, was born in Habinandi South Kushighat, Sylhet, Bangladesh.
নাট্যকার মোস্তাক আহমেদ। একজন পুরাদস্তুর নাটকের মানুষ তিনি। মঞ্চের সাথে রয়েছে তাঁর নিবিড় সখ্যতা। নাটক লেখার পাশাপাশি মঞ্চে অভিনয় করছেন এবং নাটক নির্দেশনাও দিচ্ছেন নিয়মিত। নাট্যকার হিসেবে আমেরিকা, রাশিয়া, ইংল্যান্ড, ভারতসহ আন্তর্জাতিক পরিমন্ডলে পেয়েছেন অকুন্ঠ প্রশংসা। তাঁর রচিত নাটক আমেরিকার কুইন্স থিয়েটার, ম্যারিল্যান্ড, রাশিয়ার মস্কো, ইংল্যান্ডের MAC থিয়েটার হল (বার্মিংহাম) , ইউরোপের সবচেয়ে বড় বাংলা নাটকের উৎসব ‘সিজন অব বাংলা ড্রামা, লন্ডন (টাওয়ার হেমলেটস)’ এ প্রদর্শিত হয়ে অকুণ্ঠ প্রশংসা কুড়িয়েছে। নাট্যকার মোস্তাক আহমেদ-এর নাটক বাংলাদেশের শীর্ষস্থানীয় বিদ্যাপীঠ ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, জাতীয় কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, শাহজালাল বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়সহ দেশের অন্যান্য শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানেও চর্চা হয়েছে, হচ্ছে। এপর্যন্ত, মোস্তাক আহমেদ রচিত অসংখ্য কালজয়ী নাটক দেশেবিদেশ মঞ্চস্থ হয়েছে। তাঁর উল্লেখযোগ্য নাটকগুলো হচ্ছে জমিদার দেওয়ান হাসন রাজা চৌধুরীর জীবনী-নির্ভর নাটক হাসন রাজা, সুফিসাধক দুর্ব্বিণ শাহ’র জীবনী-নির্ভর নাটক দুর্ব্বিণনামা, বৈষ্ণব গীতিকবি রাধারমণ দত্তের জীবনী-নির্ভর নাটক ভ্রমর কইও গিয়া, মোগল সাম্রাজ্যের প্রেম-বিরহ গাঁথা রাজনর্তকী, নারীপুরাণ, বেহুলা সুন্দরী, ভাটিদেশের কইন্যা, আলোক তাপসী বিহঙ্গ, লীলাবতী, লালমহল, অতঃপর চন্দ্রমুখী, রঙের মানুষ, অরণ্যে রোদন, চোর, প্রশ্ন, জামাই, বিভ্রাট, বঙ্গমাতার রঙ্গমঞ্চ, কাজী অফিস, জগলুর একদিন, রক্তাক্ত চিঠি, ক্রান্তিকাল, সর্প, অন্ধকার সভ্যতা, আদম ছুরত, বঙ্গবন্ধু পরিবার ও মুক্তিযুদ্ধের গৌরবময় গাঁথা ‘রাজনন্দিনী’। পাশাপাশি নির্দেশনা দিয়েছেন অসংখ্য দর্শকনন্দিত নাটক। মোস্তাক আহমেদ এর নির্দেশিত নাটকগুলোর মধ্যে শতভিষার প্রযোজনায় নাটক ‘নারীপুরান’, বিশ্বখ্যাত ফরাসি নাট্যকার মলিয়ের এর ‘ম্যারিজ ফোর্স’, মনসামঙ্গল আশ্রিত নাটক ‘বেহুলা সুন্দরী’, লংলার কিংবদন্তি নিয়ে নাটক ‘করিমুন্নেছা’ অন্যতম। লোকসংগীতের কিংবদন্তী প্রয়াত শ্রী বিদিত লাল দাসের হাত ধরে সাংস্কৃতিক অঙ্গনে একজন সংগীতশিল্পী হিসেবে তার পদার্পণ ঘটে। পরবর্তীকালে নাট্য-আন্দোলনে একাত্ম হয়ে নাট্যচর্চায়য় নিজেকে পুরোপুরিভাবে সম্পৃক্ত করে ফেলেন এই নাট্যকার। তাঁর প্রকাশিত উল্লেখযোগ্য গ্রন্থসমূহ হাসন রাজা, ভাটিদেশের কইন্যা, বিবর্ণ বসন্ত, রাজনন্দিনী অন্যতম। তিনি পড়াশোনা করেছেন যথাক্রমে হবিনন্দী সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়, কুচাই ইছরাব আলী দ্বি-পাক্ষিক উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় এবং মদন মোহন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কলেজে। মোহাম্মদ চাঁন মিয়া ও সাইদা বেগমের কনিষ্ঠ পুত্র মোস্তাক আহমেদ-এর জন্ম সুরমা নদীর কূলঘেষা সিলেটের হবিনন্দী দক্ষিন কুশিঘাট, বাংলাদেশে।
